Purpose of the Program

The ORI Program provides funding to support a holistic approach to rehousing and support services for homeless households in Coos County, OR. Subrecipients will deliver eligible activities that align with program goals and comply with federal, state, and local requirements.

The program is intended to rapidly move households from homelessness to permanent, stable, and safe housing. Priority given to programs that use a housing-first approach with low barriers to entry and access to supportive services to be granted the best chance to succeed in permanent housing though it is not required for a single entity to directly offer all of those services. 

Eligible Activities

Activities eligible under the upcoming RFQ include:

  • Rent and utility assistance

  • Housing stabilization and case management services

  • Housing counseling and navigation services

  • Supportive services tied to housing outcomes

  • Certain landlord incentives

*Final eligible activities will be detailed in the full RFQ and/or subrecipient contract.

Who Should Apply

  • 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations

  • Agencies with experience in housing and homelessness services, or related community programs

  • Providers serving residents within Coos County
