Building a Coordinated Housing Continuum for Oregon’s South Coast
SPARC brings housing, shelter, health, and service providers together to reduce homelessness and strengthen long-term stability across Coos and Curry Counties.
By aligning resources, coordinating strategies, and supporting local leadership, SPARC helps communities move from crisis response to sustainable solutions.
SPARC, Service Providers and Regional Connections, is a regional network designed to align the full housing continuum across Oregon’s South Coast. SPARC connects shelter, transitional housing, workforce housing, permanent affordable housing, and supportive services into a coordinated system that creates clear pathways from crisis to stability.
SPARC does not replace or direct the work of local organizations. Instead, it strengthens existing efforts by reducing fragmentation, increasing collaboration, and bringing new resources into the region.
Align the Housing Continuum
SPARC connects shelter, transitional housing, workforce housing, and permanent affordable housing into a coordinated system that creates clear pathways from crisis to stability.
Strengthen Regional Collaboration
By bringing housing, health, and service providers together, SPARC reduces duplication, fills gaps, and strengthens regional strategies across the South Coast.
Build Sustainable Solutions
SPARC supports partner led projects that expand affordable and workforce housing while integrating services that promote long-term stability and health.
“SPARC strengthens our ability to work regionally while keeping local leadership and autonomy at the center of housing solutions.”
— Matt Vorderstrasse, Executive Director North Bend City/Coos-Curry Housing Authorities
